6. Avoid the consumption of some foods such as dairy, caffeine, smoked fish and sausages, among others.

In case you have migraines during pregnancy, it is advisable that you take some measures to alleviate them:

- Close the windows and the door of your room so that it is very dark and lie down in bed, without noises or strong smells. Stay in this position for about 10 minutes or until you feel less weight on your head.

- Placing a cold cloth on the forehead also relieves the headache.

- Lie down on the bed, and put two slices of potatoes in both eyes. Relax. This is a homemade technique that often has good results.
