This is a recipe that cannot be missing from the table of families who enjoy a healthy meal and also do not offer so many calories. He proposes us to make this recipe for soy or soy meatballs. This is a good time to introduce soy into the diet of children. Soy, as many already know, is a legume with many nutritional properties that provides children with high-quality protein. A soy-based diet can help children in an allergic process such as atopic dermatitis and other skin rashes.

  • 400 gr. textured soy
  • One tablespoon of whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Parsley, oil and salt
  • Ketchup

1- Soak the soybeans (with twice as much water) for an hour to hydrate.

2- Drain the soy and mix it with the finely chopped egg, flour, garlic and parsley.

3- Add salt and pepper to the mixture and knead it with your hands until you get a dough.

4- Form the meatballs and pass them through the breadcrumbs. Reserve.

5- Put oil in a pan and bring it to the fire to fry the meatballs.

6- Drain the meatballs on absorbent paper and reserve them.

7- Heat the homemade or canned tomato sauce and when it begins to boil remove them from the heat and add the meatballs. Let them cook for a few minutes and serve.

8- If you wish, you can decorate the plate with some mint or mint leaves.
